The aim is to stimulate debate and develop practical policy suggestions for Government on issues for UK competition law and policy arising from the Brexit decision.
The group welcomes contributions from all those engaged in UK competition law and policy – including legal practitioners, consumer groups, business organizations, economic consultants, regulators and academics. Contributions may be submitted here.
The group held roundtable discussions in the autumn on issues relating to antitrust, mergers and market investigations.
A conference to discuss the working group’s provisional conclusions and recommendations will be held at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law on 2 May 2017. You can find out more about the event and register to attend here.
A final report will be submitted to Government and published in June 2017.
